More About Us

Bug & Pest Control Melbourne Most Common Questions

Bug and pest control costs in Melbourne depend on the type of pest, the size of your property, and the severity of the infestation. A general pest treatment for a standard home differs in price from specialist services like termite or rodent control. Contact Dawson's Pest Control for a tailored quote and same-day service across Melbourne and Geelong.
Yes. Dawson's provides same-day bug and pest control across Melbourne and Geelong for urgent infestations. Whether it's ants, cockroaches, spiders, rodents, wasps, or bed bugs, our licensed technicians can respond quickly to protect your home or business.
DIY pest control can manage very minor problems, but established infestations almost always return when only the visible pests are treated. Professional bug and pest control targets the source, treats the full lifecycle, and uses products and methods not available to the public. For lasting results, professional treatment is more reliable and cost-effective than repeated DIY attempts.
Bed bugs and German cockroaches are among the hardest pests to eliminate because they breed rapidly and hide in cracks and crevices that DIY treatments cannot reach. Termites are the most destructive. Each requires a different professional approach, which is why Dawson's tailors every bug and pest control treatment to the specific pest involved.
In most cases, you can return to treated rooms once the products have dried, usually within a few hours. Your Dawson's technician will give you specific advice on when it is safe to re-enter treated areas based on the treatment used. All professional treatments are applied to be safe for families and pets when instructions are followed.
Melbourne experiences seasonal pest activity. Ants and wasps emerge in spring, spiders, flies and fleas peak in summer, rodents move indoors during autumn, while silverfish and cockroaches persist through winter. Dawson's provides year-round bug and pest control across Melbourne and Geelong to handle each seasonal shift.
A standard residential pest treatment usually takes 30 to 60 minutes, while larger properties or severe infestations can take longer. Your Dawson's expert technician will provide a time estimate before starting. Most treatments are completed in a single visit, with specialist services like termite management sometimes requiring follow-ups.
Yes. Dawson's treatments are safe for households with pets and children when applied by our licensed technicians and aftercare instructions are followed. Your Dawson’s technician will advise on any temporary precautions, such as keeping pets out of treated areas until the treatments have dried.

I recently booked Dawson Pest Control for a house inspection, and I was very impressed with their service. The young technician, Lachlan, was very friendly, polite, professional, knowledgeable, and patient from start to finish. It's great to find a reliable pest control company that provides such excellent customer service. I highly recommend Dawson Pest Control to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional pest control service.

Outstanding Service - Highly Recommend Frank! Frank Cutajar from Dawson’s Pest Control provided absolutely exceptional service. He is incredibly well-spoken, highly professional, and an all-around trustworthy technician who instantly puts you at ease. What really set Frank apart was the time he took to educate us, thoroughly explaining his process and walked the property with us to point out potential entry points and giving us advice on how to block them up. He also gave us a very clear, realistic breakdown of what to expect over the next few weeks so there are no surprises. If you want a thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind professional who treats your home (and pets) with respect, ask for Frank. Outstanding customer service!
Bill Dawson
A very thorough and professional termite inspection conducted by Ash.
After the inspection I was advised on recommended actions to take as well as receiving quotations for treatments recommended.
Ash was also punctual arriving on time with a courtesy call to let me know that he was on his way as well as being polite and respectful. Good work.
Stephen McEwen
Dawson’s Australia - Pest Control Services - explained the process, inspected and treated our ceiling space for rodents, the service person was very friendly and helpful with explaining, very efficient in delivering the treatment and all in all was very professional. We are hoping for a great result, but will have to wait and see.

I would recommend calling Dawson’s Australia for assistance with rodents and pests.

Nathan did a great job!
Maggie Mahlo
A big thank you to Corey for the excellent service. He was punctual, professional, and very helpful. He explained everything clearly and did a thorough job. I am very happy with the service and would highly recommend their Pest control services.
natalie blagic
We had Frankie assist us with pest control recently, he was extremely professional & very knowledgeable in his field, he provided us with all the information we needed to feel that the service & treatment we were receiving was safe & effective. He assessed our home & provided safeguarding solutions to help avoid future pest infestation. We had previously had another company who offered s same day service who used a bait system, did not provide us with the same level of reassurance or knowledge as dawsons, we were overcharged & the treatment in the end was ineffective, their tech also caused damage to our walls with his ladder. We will definitely always use dawsons for any future pest control needs as the service, reliability & cost are unparalleled.
Brandi Ujcic
The receptionist was wonderful! Was really great in explaining the process and booking me in quickly. The gentleman that came to do the extermination was great too, the job was done so quickly that I wondered if it had been done efficiently, but weeks later my house is still rat free
Geraldine Zagallai
Corey from Dawson's Australia has been fantastic, coming out to inspect our three storey roof regarding a pigeon problem. He was respectful, courteous, personable and knowledgeable. We discussed solutions and he provided a quote for works on the spot with no pressure to make a further decision right away. Highly recommended.
Rami Ajjour
I had an excellent experience with this company. From the first contact until the job was completed, everything was professional and well organised.

The technician who came to my home was very polite, respectful, punctual, and explained everything clearly. He worked carefully and professionally, and it was obvious that he is very experienced.
Kelly Irish
Luke provided friendly, professional advice and he was able to do the work immediately rather than schedule the job in for another day which was a pleasant surprise. Great service, easy payment and guaranteed work. We’re very pleased.
Wendy Ha
The technician, was very informative and did a very detailed job. He was knowledgeable about our pest problem and gave us great advice on treatment and what to look out for. Would highly recommend the company and big thanks to Luke and his advice.
Lin F
Frankie and Jordan did an amazing job. Frankie explained exactly how the service went, and they went above and beyond. Walking around the property and showing me how the pests were getting in, and what I could do to further minimise the issue. They were so kind. I will definitely be using this service again.
Jason Whatley
Received call from Dawson’s and had a technician arrived within two hours. Very polite and professional. Did a thorough job and provided useful advice to minimise reoccurrence. Very happy with the service.
Tony Kent
Excellent inspection. When I booked a termite inspection report I hadn't expected the thoroughness of the approach. Paul patiently went through all of the house interior and exterior, the roof cavity, the underfloor, the out buildings and the fences, it took him some hours but by the end he was able to deliver a very professional report. The communication was excellent, Paul talked through the issues in plain English and the follow up written report and photos arrived promptly.
EM W
A great service. I called and was able to book for the following day. Received a call 30 mins beforehand advising time of arrival. Frank and Ricky were friendly, professional and explained everything clearly. I think this was an excellent service and gave me reassurance about being able to manage my issue with rodents in my roof. Thank you!
Peter Howard
Fast (same day) and effective response to my bird nest / mite problem. Paul and Ken (I hope I remember the names correctly) are good communicators and explained carefully how the birds had entered the house showing me pictures of the area. The nest was removed, powder sprayed around the area and the entry point blocked. We agreed that it would be best to spray the top floor of the house as the mites had already entered this area so a quote is being prepared.
Hopefully this now solves the mite problem!

Thanks Paul & Ken

Dawson’s Pest Control did an outstanding job fixing our rodent problem. From the moment they arrived, the technician was professional, thorough, and clearly knowledgeable. They quickly identified the source of the issue, explained everything in a way we could understand, and took care of the problem efficiently.
Within a short time, we noticed a huge improvement, and we haven’t had any issues since. Their service was reliable, friendly, and definitely worth it. I highly recommend Dawson’s Pest Control to anyone dealing with pests especially rodents!

I have been a customer of Dawsons Australia for 15+ years for routine pest control, and have always been extremely satisfied with their pest control services and overall customer service provided (from the booking team to the technicians - always friendly and helpful). I don't usually write reviews, however I would like to acknowledge the expertise and exceptional service recently received from Paul Jones. Paul is very professional, knowledgable, will go over and above, and instills customer confidence. I would certainly recommend Dawsons Australia to others seeking pest control services.
Matthew
Really great experience I had today from one of the technicians from Dawsons (didn't catch his name). Great service and definitely felt like he went above and beyond by helping us find the entry point of mice / rats and also applying treatment throughout the entire house. Cost was very reasonable.
Liam
Really happy with the service that Frankie Cutaiar provided; jovial, friendly and knowledgeable about the pests we were dealing with. He explained everything perfectly and was extremely efficient with the work. Overall we've been very happy with Dawson's services over the years :)
Vanessa Zorzut
First time using the service, from intitial contact and making a booking the staff were very friendly and polite and were able to accommodate the time requested. Jordan who attended was very helpful and explained the process in detail. Was happy to answer any of my questions and was extremely professional when providing the service. Fingers crossed we’re all good in 4 days. Overall a great experience under the circumstances and would use and recommend in the future.
B. Toth
The technician, Harrison, was diligent and comprehensive. We haven’t heard any activity in the roof since the visit. This was the second we’ve had them out, the first time being a year ago. A little mix up with booking initially but that got sorted out. I had to move the appointment once it was made and that was very easy to do. Overall, a very good experience and I would recommend Dawson’s and use again.

Exceptional Service – Highly Recommended!

Frank Cutaylar from Dawson’s was absolutely fantastic. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He quickly confirmed the issue was rodents, explained exactly what was happening, and carried out a full treatment across both levels of my home as well as the exterior.

What really stood out was how patient and informative he was — he walked me through everything in detail, from how to stop the pests returning to what to seal and even what to pick up from Bunnings to protect my home long-term.

I truly appreciated how calm, respectful, and reassuring he was throughout the whole process. I feel much more at ease now thanks to his help.

Couldn’t recommend Frank and Dawson’s more — a five-star service in every way!

I called Dawson as I heard noises but had seen no actual pests. They were prompt with their reply, arranged it for the next business day, as I said it wasn’t urgent. Nathan was fantastic . Very friendly guy who was very thorough and knowledgeable , took his time explaining the process and what gaps to fill etc even though it was quite late in the arvo. Dawsons are very lucky to have him he is very good for your business:)
Gamini de Alwis
My house was infested with mice or rats. I got Dawson recommended by my cousin. They contacted me promptly and fixed an early appointment. The person carrying out the job arrived on time, explained what they intend doing and after finishing the job showed me three places where they could get in. Short while later I forgot the third place and I rang the office. The pleasant young man who did the job returned to show me the third place.
Elizabeth Matthews
Excellent from start to finish. They fit me in promptly. Mikhali (I hope I spelt his name correctly) was personable, honest, knowledgeable, and funny. He answered all my questions and explained everything in an easy manner. A people lover and a dog lover. A most honest and hard working asset to the company. Rare to find these days.
Great job Dawsons and Mikhaili.
Alice Cooper
Had Mike out to my place in Geelong today, and would definitely recommend. Friendly, professional and really knows his stuff. He was happy to help answer a whole bunch of questions I had and provided sound advice. Big thanks!
Belinda
The young man that came down to sort the smell in our roof was unreal. Polite. Punctual. Explained everything. Then he crawled into a tight space. Fished around for 20 minutes and located the source of the smell. Deleted it and sanitised the area. All on a Saturday arvo at 4 o lock. Then had to drive an hour home to Melbourne. He is a credit to the Dawson team. Nathan. Torquay

Very, very pleased with Dawson's. The technician that turned up to do the work, Taylen, was the ultimate professional. He turned up exactly when he said he would, he explained the entire procedure, and completed the work efficiently, and within the time frame that I was given. The price was very competitive. I will definitely use Dawson's again
Helen Firth
The blokes who turned up were absolutely amazing. They were extremely thorough, were really generous with the information they provided, and were delightfully easy to work with. I could not rate them highly enough.

Unfortunately the office had given me the completely wrong advice when booking the job advising me that I could be at home, with my animals (in a room, door closed, etc), for the entire job when this was just clearly not the case. They also said it would be a maximum of two hours (in the room).

When the blokes turned up and advised it took 2 to 4 hours and absolutely no way would it be safe for animals (or me) to be in the house - that changed the whole situation. The logistics of suddenly having to find somewhere for me and 3 cats to be for up to 4 hours was impossible with no notice.

But the blokes were totally understanding (having been in this situation numerous times it seems) and they were happy to allow me time to work out what to do. However on reviewing the property, they were also very up front in advising that I didn't need both treatments which had been booked. With one treatment (not needed) being cancelled, it meant that I didn't need to leave the house at all (or even close doors, windows, etc). So 10 stars to the men who turned up to do the job - if I knew their names I'd mention them. They were outstanding.
Stephanie Scerri
Highly recommend! Frankie was amazing to deal with - very professional and friendly. He took the time to explain the process, answered all questions we had thoroughly & made us feel very comfortable leaving him in our house to complete the treatment. Thank you Frankie 🙂

I have used Dawson before at another property with great results so they were the go to people when we noticed problems at our new address. A knowledgeable and friendly team member answered the phone and gave good information including “recognising “ us as past customers which is a good feeling. He made an appointment and told me what to expect. The technician turned up as per the arrangements. He was friendly and gave us the information we needed. Locked up as requested on completion. Very happy with the service provided. Looking forward to a pest free future. Thanks Dawson.
Maira Shearman
I had the pest control technician visit my home today, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. My husband and I were both horrified by the mice activity in our home, but the technician was patient and took the time to walk us through the entire process, explaining what needed to be done and how he would handle the situation.

He was not only professional but also kind and genuinely friendly, making us feel at ease throughout the visit. His attention to detail and thorough approach left us feeling confident that the issue would be handled properly. We are both extremely happy with the service and would absolutely recommend this company to anyone facing pest problems. It’s rare to come across such a knowledgeable, caring professional, and we truly appreciated his help today!
Billy Chen

After a bad experience with another company, bit the bullet and paid for another inspection by Dawsons - glad we did. Professional, thorough inspection, treatment on the day, and costs are competitive against their competition.

Just had Young Frank 👍 the Technician from Mickleham out to do my six monthly treatment. Really friendly young bloke. GREAT personality. Very efficient and good advice as well. Bloody hot day for him up in the ceiling but he soldered on 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Forget about going to Bunnings or the likes to get DIY treatments. By the time you spend a considerable amount of money and messing around just get the specialists like Frank out to do the job PROPERLY.
Its done and dusted and you can rest easy.
Can't fault Dawsons or their Technicians and the friendly staff at the office.
And a special hello 👋 to Tyler. 🤗 who was the first Technician I had way back 👍
Jed A Guinto
Isaiah did a great job. Turned up on time and smashed the job in just 20 minutes or so. Great service and very reliable communication from their sales team as well.

I found Ashley from Dawson 's to be very professional and helpful. He did a thorough inspection and advised what he would use to eradicate the rats and proceeded to complete the job with the utmost professionalism.
ROSS LANG
The only negative was the technician arrived 2 hours after appointment, but he did keep us updated as to his arrival. He gave clear explanation as to what he would do to alleviate our problem and carried out his work efficiently. Hopefully our rat infestation is solved but I was assured if it isn't he would return.

Extremely professional business all around. From the thorough explanation of the services during the quoting process all the way to the job being carried out in a quick, straightforward and efficient manner.

The technician was very polite and as the job was at my grandparent’s house and there were many many question’s regarding the process, pet safety and how to stop the return of infestation all of which were answered with reassuring solutions showing a thorough understanding of the job.

Could not be more impressed and grateful to the team at Dawsons as well as being extremely fair priced for the services received.

Highly recommend for anyone facing the daunting task of dealing with a rat infestation. 10/10!
Michael Fleming
Quick and easy - Peter on phone was excellent very friendly and knew his stuff and booked the specialist who promptly arrived about an hour later. Eren really knew his trade and after assessing the situation went over the treatment with me and started the treatment straight away - very impressive and superior to competitors I used in the past. Great first experience with Dawsons.

Well done Ben! your office rang to let us know the time you would arrive and you were on time, thank you!. You explained in detail what was required before and after the job was completed 👌
David
The pest controller (Jaydn) who came to us was courteous and knew exactly what he was talking about. He performed his job thoroughly and without mishap. He found the entry spots in the kitchen that the mice are using. And gave me information about how to close them up.
He sprayed under the house and in the roof cavity
I was very happy with the service.
Alexander Di Blasi
Had Frankie come out today to deal with an ongoing bird issue. All sorted at a great price too. Eternal thanks dawsons. Don't go elsewhere. Great service.

Very impressed with the service I received with Dawson’s this morning . I felt it was a complete service unlike other companies I had used before . House was properly inspected inside and out and traps set accordingly . Outside areas were sprayed and possible entry points for the rodents explained so that measures could be taken to have them closed off .
On top of all that Maihi and Dylan were very punctual and very easy to talk to.
Luke
Corey was fantastic. Friendly and provided reassurance the treatment would be safe for my pet. Spent time to explain the process and inspected the entire property. Time will tell if the treatment has worked, but the experience on the day was second to none.
Tom Baker
Great experience with Paul from Dawsons. He was really pleasant to deal with, did a really thorough job and provided a really clear explanation of what he was going to do. Highly recommend them.

I had technician Michael assist today and I can’t speak highly of his professionalism and communication. His expert knowledge and understanding were a stand out. With the initial contact Dawsons put my mind to ease and listened to my story. I thoroughly recommend Michael and Dawsons and will be using them in the future.
Simon W
Andrew is the technican to do the inspection today. He is extremely experience. He clearly explained the problems identified and shared a lot of details and suggestion with me. Hopefully I can have the same high quality of work on the recommended treatment.
steffi n
Used twice now and super professional and nice- both Peter(?) on the phone and the guys who come in are always happy to help answer questions and provide preventive tips. The recent guy who came even pointed out some other issues in the roof not related to pests that I might need fixing which I really appreciate. They really lower you stress when it comes to pests.
Branka Vulama
Thank you for your service. Gentleman that came out was very professional and thorough with his explanation of the process. Felt very comfortable unlike a recent one I sent packing from my property. Very happy customer now hoping the little critters go away.
Christopher Brooks
Arrived on time as promised. Understood what needed doing. Well presented. Courteous. Got the job done quickly and without fuss. Highly recommend. Great service at a good price. Well done Dawsons

Brenda Eland
I highly recommend Dawsons and would use them again. They provide value for money and it didn't break the bank! Ashley was prompt and friendly. He explained the process and what I could expect. More importantly, he explained afterwards what I could do moving forward to reduce opportunity for rats to access my house. As a single income family, this was totally affordable.
John Yang
Arrived on time and the representative answered each of my questions with patience and professionalism. Pricing was also transparent, with each charge itemized. Would recommend Dawson if you ever encounter unwanted critters in your home.
Jen
Very happy with the service right from the beginning, I was provided with the detailed information regarding the booking, what the inspection report entails. On the day I was given 15 minute notice before the technician arrived. The technician/inspector was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Definitely recommend Dawson Pest Control.

Really happy with the service provided by Dawson's
Specifically that provided by their technician, Harrison.
Dawson's communicated when Harrison would come by, and while he was there he was friendly, explained what, and why he was doing what he was doing.
He made a comprehensive assessment of our house and got straight down to spraying/treating the areas that seemed most likely to have mice/pests.

Appreciated his professionalism and his willingness to explain and outline what was necessary.
Definitely happy with our service from Dawson's and would recommend them if the subject of pest-control came up.
Louise Robertson
I had actually hired another company who turned out to be a nightmare. I called these guys as we had already prepared our place for bed bug spray and couldn't wait. They were so easy to deal with Lachlan was a lovely person. They had someone to our place in an hour and at a very reasonable cost given the short notice. Stuart came. He was amazing with knowledge and experience. He was very thorough. The first company had low star rating with bad reviews we learned after they stuffed us around. Dawson's here have a deserving 4.7 star rating with wonderful reviews of over 1000 clients. Hire these guys over anyone else. They are amazing! Local call centre and local people too.
Sarah Hood
Frankie was amazing, he such an incredible young man, his customer service was a stand out, he explained everything to me and was so happy respectful and helpful. He did a great job spraying the house also.

I was pleased about the quick service with my rodent problem, rang Friday and job done on Monday, in Ballarat too. I was phoned about the time of arrival, nice and early.
Brigid took time to explain things as did the receptionist when I rang initially.
It is good to know the system of treatment and how it works.
Great that it is relatively safe too.
I do feel relieved I have had this treatment as rodents can cause so much damage to a house.
Curtis Beers
The lads from Dawson’s were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Finished the job in quick time and the 30-day warranty for wasp nest removal is excellent peace of mind.
Rohan Potter
Nobody really wants to have to pay for pest removal, but when you do I would recommend Dawson's. I liked that I could call over the weekend and make an appointment for Monday. Michael from Dawson's was punctual, personable, professional and methodical. It would seem that the wasp problem has been eliminated, noting if not then it would be solved within the 30 day free service period. I liked the clear and simple quoting and payment process and I think the service provided was very good value for money.
Karina Marrow
Denise was most helpful in letting me know the arrival time of the team member.
Harrison, sprayed our home & answered all our questions.
There weren’t any odors on our return ,as I’m very sensitive to smells!
Paul Greenwell
Very responsive and customer focused.
I put my request in on Sunday, received a callback first thing Monday and had someone over Monday afternoon. Wasp nest was high up on building but was not an issue for the attendance

Exterminators were very professional. They explained the process prior to doing the job and once the job was complete explained what would happen over the course of the next few days. Also, guarantee work with a 30 day warranty which I hopefully won't need to use. Would highly recommended as the customer service was of the highest quality.
John Tong
From start to finish, the engagement with Dawson's was fantastic. I couldn't highly recommend them enough, simply high quality service. We had a technician named Stuart who attended our home to assess the pest issue. He was very approachable, friendly and made sure we clearly understood every step of the way. If you have any kind of pest issue, I would highly recommend you consider Dawson's Australia.

These guys are a little more expensive than everyone else but I’m glad I went with them as they did an excellent job and the staff on the phone and email support were superb! They weren’t pushy to try and sell more services which most companies try and do. I spoke mainly with Lachlan and he was great. Highly recommend!
Michael Mikedis
Dawsons were chosen for treatment of an ant & spider infestation in our home. Due to unforeseen circumstances the application had to be completed in two parts. Both times the guys were right on time, very friendly & professional. They took the time to explain the whole process in detail. Even though it's still too early to see the results, we understand that we must be patient as it is a long-term process. We feel Dawsons was the right choice. Overall, we are very happy with the service.
Zvi
Stuart from Dawsons was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything that he was going to do. He listened to my concerns and didn’t try to ‘upsell’ me. He was very pleasant and friendly as well. He certainly knows his stuff and enjoys his profession! Thanks mate!

Just want to thank Dawson's - Craig, Peter, and the lady I spoke to on the phone and their assurance and sharing of information during the difficult time of dealing with rodents in my roof. A time when you feel so helpless. Thank you for making it all seam so straight forward. Hopefully, if it does recur, I will know who to go to.
Best Wishes

We had no problem booking in the service and the rep arrived on time. That said, he was a bit unsure on how to remove the down lights in order to get the compressor into the flat roof cavity and spray for rats.
He was fast and efficient though, and left minimal mess, which was very easy to clean up.
We are hoping the spraying has done the trick, as bait balls used previouselly, did not work.
April Jones
Booked with Peter on the phone. He was very informative and immediately found us a time the same day for Callum to come and help with the rats in our ceiling. Callum was on time and explained the process well. He was far and efficient and very lovely to chat to. We very much appreciate the professional service of Dawsons and we will use them again.
Tony Callea

Chris Salter

Tram Truong
I recently had an excellent experience with Dawsons Pest Control service. After reaching out about a dead rodent smell issue, they responded promptly and arranged for a technician to visit on the same day. Corey and Taylen, the two technicians, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and thorough in their job. They inspected the house, quickly located the rodent carcass in the ceiling, and removed and treated it immediately. They pointed out different locations around my property that are not properly sealed off which allows rodents to get inside the house. The whole process of pest treatment and carcass removal took about 1.5 hours. It was quick and easy process. I'm impressed with their professionalism and would definitely recommend their great service!
Patricia Skipper
Elizabeth and Michael arrived on time, they presented well and were polite and respectful.

They listened carefully to what I had to say about my problem - they proceed to find the problem, they were thorough and I trusted that they knew what they were doing.

They explained what was happening my roof, answered all my questions and gave me alot of explanation and information about possums and rats.

When they left I felt very happy with everything they had done.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pest problem!
Patty Braumueller
Matthew arrived promptly, explained the process and went to work. He was friendly and informative, answered all my questions. Jan on phone was excellent , then Peter to advise Matthew was my technician. I could not be happier now those pesky rodents will not be freeloading in our home. Patty

I recently had an unpleasant issue with a pretty awful smell coming from the roof space. Peter from customer service was friendly when I phoned, reassuring me they could get a technician out that day. He then phoned me 30 minutes before Matthew, the technician arrived. Matthew was able to locate and deal with the deceased rodent, and answered questions I had. He was helpful and it was clear he gained satisfaction from assisting people with their pest problems. A big thanks!
Cindy Nguyen
I had Ben come consult my properly and he was great! Though I kept my distance from him as he was examining the area he was very accommodating (I have a huge phobia of the pest). Customer service is great they called me before arrival bur I'm yet to see how affective treatment is and will monitor
Rebecca Mundi
Have had nothing but super friendly staff from Dawson's over the past couple of years receiving bi-yearly mice treatments for our house. Mathew was our most recent technician and he listened to everything I said, answered my questions easily, as well as being patient with me while I also attended to my 5-month old baby and pet dog.
Daniel G
Matt from Dawsons was great to deal with. Arrived within the hour for same day service and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you to Denise also who promply organised the same day service! Would highly recommend!

We have used Dawson’s in the past. The staff on the phone were friendly and helpful. The extermination could be done on the same day as I had phoned which was fantastic.
We were told that we would be alerted to Dawson arriving and this was done as described and in a timely manner.
Corey and Matt were very polite and explained the process thoroughly. They carried out the extermination efficiently and professionally.
I would highly recommend this service.

Just had Dawsons out to tend to some wasps under my house. I had been too afraid to look but the discovered a huge nest! Professional service, the wasps are now gone and I am no longer hiding inside!
Nest must have been there a while but we hadn’t noticed it! Not sure how!

We recently had Dawson to do any annual pest control maintenance work. John came to our property. He was so patient and spent time with me to explain the process. He was professional and very knowledgeable, which made me feel that I can trust his service. He was mindful that we have a little one at home and gave us advice how to manage aftermaths as well.

Thank you John for your excellent service!

Daniel was so lovely, understanding and patient. He was courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and communicated everything about the job. He knew his chemicals and pests well which gave me great confidence that I had chosen the right company. He worked quietly and efficiently and told me what to expect post treatment. It is too early to comment on the long term effectiveness but by the time the vacate period ended I found good evidence the treatment was already working. I have no hesitation in recommending Dawson’s. Thank you Daniel.
Ava Bohun
I was so impressed with the service I received today. Peter was a calming presence on the phone when I made my initial phone call and was able to coordinate an appointment within a day. Chris the technician was polite, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job given it wasn’t straightforward. Hopefully I won’t need you again but I would recommend to my friends.

Jake was extremely professional, thorough and knowledgeable in his trade. He explained to me each step of the process and provided expert advice. Despite doing a 5PM job at the end of the week, he still went above and beyond through patiently addressing my concerns and even personally wrote down post-treatment advice for me.

The two phone staff I called were also very helpful in explaining the rodent control process and did not pressure me unlike other companies which enhanced my customer experience.

Thanks Dawson's Pest Control.

I filled out the online form and Dawsons called me soon after to discuss the job. The guy came for the work on a Thursday and explained to me and asked me a few questions then proceeded to inspect the house and do the work. Very communicative all the way and also showed me pics of the problem spots which I loved. I knew exactly what was going on which was fantastic. Definitely give them a call for pest control.
Peter Hoskin

I have been having a recurring problemnin.my roof and courtyard for some months now. And whilst the problem is still currently ongoing with a view to resolve soon, Dawson's has been great with taking every call seriously & for honouring their committment with the warranty period & for working to resolve this. I would especially like to thank Lauren, Jan & Bryan & to the technicians Jade & Ashleigh.
Ashleigh in particular took his time to attend to the job, worked alongside my tradesman friend with working around roof tiles, & explained everything he was doing & did this thoroughly.
Amanda Van Der Griend
Friendly team. The boys were really good at communicating. Due to running a bit behind on jobs they called early and let me know so we could reschedule if we needed to. They called before attending so I was aware they were coming. Great service. Polite staff. Very happy with the work.
Alexandra Eeles
Michael was great help, very nice guy and answered any question we had. provided advice on how to try and prevent mice from getting in the roof in future. I saw someone else had a bad experience with them not calling ahead, which didn’t happen for me. Called Dawsons after we saw mice in our house. I had seen there vans and thought I would look them up, was great and the best part was they quote the job before they come, which takes the stress of the unknown away. The team were super friendly to talk to and the man who came to put the treatment down couldn’t have been more lovely and professional. Don’t waste your money buying traps and Bate get these guys in.
Ken Wilson
Michael turned up at our home on time as promised when I made the appointment which is very refreshing these days.
He was very polite, answered all our questions and carried out the job in a very professional manner
Michael looked around our home and advised us in depth about how to stop the nasties entering.
He then inspected the roof space and sprayed where necessary.
Very impressed with the way he carried out the job and cannot recommend them highly enough.
Will definitely use Dawson's again if need be.
Faye and Ken Wilson.

Paul is a very professional operator. He was friendly and knowledgeable. On time, good pricing and helpful. Performed a thorough inspection and treatment on our house. Will definitely get Dawson’s back on an annual basis and for termite barrier treatment, when required. Highly recommended.
Geoff 289
The young man Jarrod who came and addressed the wasp infestation in my elderly mother's house was very professional, courteous and efficient, explaining clearly what he would do and what the effect would be and then getting on with the job. I was very impressed with him. It is too soon to say whether the treatment has been 100% effective but I have no doubt that it will be and the follow up options are very clear if there is any residual problem.

The booking process was straightforward enough and the information provided at that time clear and concise. It would have been good to have more communication during the day as to the estimated time of arrival as all we knew was that it was likely to be in the afternoon and that we would get a call 30 minutes in advance of arrival. As it happened Jarrod didn't arrive until nearly 6:00 p.m. so some more communication during the day would have made it easier to plan. Not a big criticism but an area where some improvement would have made a big difference to me.

I can't really comment on the reasonableness of the cost as we didn't get any alternative quotes but at face value I don't have any concerns in this area.

Overall, more than happy to recommend Dawsons and I commend them for employing staff like Jarrod who is a credit to them.
Stephen Reeves-Williams
Quote and booking the service was done easily via the Dawson website. Dawsons rang me to say that the technician was on his way and Daniel arrived right on time. Scope of service was explained thoroughly and the application of the treatment was completed in a timely manner. It was all done professionally and without any real disruption to the household. Very happy with Dawsons.
Rebecca Floyd
Cory was very professional and friendly.
The wasp was something he had never come across before but still was very professional in identifying it and doing what needed to be done.
Would definitely recommend the team at Dawson's to my family and friends after my experience and will use in the future if needed.
Thanks again Cory

The Dawsons Exterminator was friendly, knowledgeable and kept us informed of what to expect at each stage. The wasp-looking mask was awesome. The nest was located and destroyed most efficiently, along with its inhabitants. Thank you for a job well done!

The spot treatment was scheduled today. We still had some ants that were lingering around since we had the initial treatment a couple of months ago. I was advised by the office staff that the technician would be arriving shortly. Which he did.
We discussed the ongoing ants still lingering and the friendly technician completed the job promptly.
This is the second year we have used Dawson's for ant issues and the technicians are always friendly and eager to assist. I highly recommend them.
Neil McFarlane
Too early to determine effectiveness- time will tell. Other aspects were good. Managed customer expectations, advised precise time of arrival (came within 15 mins of time advised). Courteous, respectful, clear business process. Had to leave premises so no observation possible.
angie-lee stahl
Highly recommended. Dawsons responded promptly, didn’t troll me, gave accurate estimate prices and assessment and were able to fit me in same day. Riley, the guy, listened carefully and offered great advice. Don’t bother searching for other companies - I wish I’d just gone with these guys from the start.
Sally Mclean

SERVICE and CARE PLUS++

Technician was on time, did a thorough analysis of my termite issue and answered all my questions.

I wish every ‘fixer upper’ company / tradie I dealt with was like Dawson’s.

I really felt the technician cared which makes a huge difference to me; I wasn’t just another pest control case.

I have full confidence that Dawson’s will rectify my issue once I proceed with the job quote that I am waiting to receive.

Highly recommend Dawson’s!

Contacted Dawson’s Pest removal for assistance with birds nesting in my roof cavity.
